    Thanks for your comment. The Esparto station is not being used because the site and the data from it are not representative of agricultural conditions in the area. The Esparto station is located at an intersection in town, adjacent to roads and buildings, which makes temperatures and winds different from what they would be in an open field outside of town. As such, I have been told by CIMIS it is not a reliable source of data for agricultural ET measurements to be used by growers and manager in the region.
